Pallini Limoncello is a natural liqueur that has been crafted by the Pallini family in Italy since 1875. It is made from prized, Sfusato lemons, exclusive to the Amalfi coast. The handpicked lemons are infused immediately, so their freshness and flavour is delivered in every bottle.
Pallini Limoncello is made using non-pesticide Sfusato Amalfitano lemons, which translates to the “Amalfi spindle,” referring to their unique shape. These large and heavy lemons are hand harvested, then walked through steep hills for immediate transport to the distillery.
Only the lemon peels are used which are vacuum-sealed and used within 24 hours after harvest. It’s important to peel the zest from the lemons without the white bitter pith. The process ensures only the yellow “lemony” part of the lemon is used for Pallini limoncello.
The peels are then soaked in pure alcohol made only from natural molasses sugar-beets. The liquid is then sweetened, and blended with additional lemon oils, a flavourful extra step unique to Pallini.
Its versatility is almost endless – enjoy it neat, on the rocks, straight from the fridge, or mixed into cocktails and food recipes.
